Without delving too much into this, that, and the other thing, who knows what about… what are the places?
Newport, Rhode Island. Yeah. Tell me something about Newport, Rhode Island.
And Camden, New Jersey. I need to know about Newport, Rhode Island and Camden, New Jersey.
Help me out here.

Camden itself isn’t awesome. It’s not awesome in relation to Philly in much the same way, say, Newark is not awesome in relation to New York, all the good big city stuff is on the other side of the river.
But the not awesome parts aren’t that huge. 15-30m away by car (and less by train as they’ve finished putting in the short rail line which is kind of awesome) is some of the wealthiest suburbs in the country. The area is all old farmland which has been slowly paved over by suburbs, how much farmland you’re exposed to varies depending on exactly where you end up. The area ranges from big millionaire McMansions (lots of philly pro athletes used to end up in that area, I remember driving past Randal Cunningham’s house when I was a kid), to really old colonial honest-to-god white picket fence Main Street towns.
Speaking from experience, it’s really not a bad area to grow up.
Forget Camden.. come down to Cape May and live by me!

Ya, I don’t know alot about the city personally, i’m rather sheltered down here at the shore. The only good things I do know about the city is… The Adventure Aquarium is very nice and they have some great concerts at the Tweeter Center (an open air ampitheater).
