if you ever get past Giada’s cleavage check out her head – it is huge. In fact we call her Big Head in our house. Never Giada just Big Head, sometimes when her show is on we only talk about her huge head and never the food.

I was lucky enough to meet Alton Brown once. He came to town for a book signing at a grocery store (Wegmans for those on the east coast). He is as wonderful in person as he is on TV.

I was running UK while my wife was watching food network. I was completely absorbed, until I heard the name Giada. wife commented how I hadn’t been watching tv for the last hour, but I turn my head when I heard Giada. She and Nigella can literally wipe pugs if I’m the one healing or tanking. Why food network and WoW don’t go together for me:
Nigella appears on screen.
Nigella crits my attention span for 9 million
Random mob hits tank for 5k 8 times. tank dies
Random mob crits each of my dps for 25k. They have died
Random mob crits me for 25k. I have died.
Nigella leaves screen because commercial is over.
I regain attention span.
I return to numerous expletives in purple text on my screen.
/blame lag spike and hope Giada isn’t on next.

I can’t stand Rachel Ray. Her voice, the terms she uses, the way she’s too chipper … ugh.

But Giada … now her I like! Haha.

I totally and completely agree. I’m not very much a fan of giada. The only thing I really hate food network for is that Alton’s been put on at around 2 AM PST, and I don’t possess and DVR, and am too advanced for VCR. Damn it all.
