Saw this commercial before Prince of Persia the other day! Could not stop laughing at the cardboard box.
At the end of the day, it’s still a Kia, though.
The cardboard box part is pretty awesome, but otherwise this really reminds me of that terrible “Alvin and the Chipmunks” movie…which makes me cry.
The song in that Kia video immediately reminded me of Fatboy Slim’s – Weapon of Choice

I saw this on the TV the other day, great commercial, except! I HATED THAT SONG BACK WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT AND I STILL DO.
Mostly because of the “Unh!” and “Come on!” that are placed ABOVE the rapping, instead of in the background thereof. Takes a great flow, a great beat, and runs it into the ground. (I can’t help it. I’m all about the flow. Snoop Dogg forever, yo.)
On the other hand, Kia’s marketing department seems to have a singular talent for generally taking great music and putting it together with visuals that stick in the mind, so I guess it’s a net win.
Here’s another song they used. The song is great, but holy cow, the video itself is something out of a bad acid trip.

ROFLcoter for the win! ….oh my goodness……it is so ’90s with the whole rapper /necklace/hoodys/etc…..love it!! …..and it may be KIA so what they actually make decent vehicles now….owned by Hyundai…..their resale value is the only thing holding them back! Personnaly I liked the “toaster” moment the best….ie: toaster = Scion xB lol!!! Great find Daniel!!

I must admit, though, that I watched this video twice – voluntarily.

Lmao, I hadn’t seen that commercial yet. Funny, but I liked the first one better. I got one of those back in December and it’s a fun vehicle to drive.
